La nature comme source d’innovations
Le copain François Aubin me parle avec éloquence du congrès TED auquel il a assisté dernièrement. La meilleure présentation qu’il a vue est celle de Janine Benyus qui explique comment la nature est la source d’inspiration innovante qui permet à son entreprise d’inventer de nouveaux mécanismes de design et d’ingénierie. In this inspiring talk, Janine Benyus provides fascinating examples of biomimicry — the way humans mimic nature in the products we build and the systems we implement. And because the champion adapters in the natural world are, by definition, those that can survive without destroying the environment that sustains them, biomimicry can contribute to the long-term health of our planet.
